By donating items to our Economy Stores, you are directly helping people in need as well as supporting LifePath’s various programs and services.

In an effort to be good stewards, we have developed a set of Economy Store Donation Guidelines. This is not an all-inclusive list, but an outline to assist you and help LifePath reduce its costs.

Food donations are also accepted at our main Drop-Off Center (see address below).

Where to take your donations?

1) Economy Stores, with locations in York, Dover, and Dallastown. Please note store hours for each. All items are accepted at the discretion of our team members.

2) Drop-Off Center at 350 W. Clarke Ave., Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Food donations are also accepted at this location. All items are accepted at the discretion of our team members.

3) Collection Bins for donations of shoes and/or clothing only. Look for the bright blue bins at more than 75 locations throughout the community. Click here for a complete list of bin locations.

4) Pick-Up Service for large items, or if you can’t make it to one of our locations. To schedule a pick-up, call 717.845.7662 with an itemized list, including the number of boxes or bags of items, and all furniture items. We schedule pick-ups Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. All items are accepted at the discretion of our team members.

LifePath’s Annual Food Drive is a great way to bring joy to thousands of homeless and hungry families this holiday season.

This year’s Food Drive will be held October 23 – December 23.

Please take your donations at any M&T Bank or any York County Library.

Please refer to the list below for needed items. And please, no glass containers!

  • cooking oil
  • canned vegetables, especially corn & green beans
  • sugar & sugar substitutes
  • condiments (ketchup, mustard, salad dressing)
  • boxed or bagged pasta, noodles, and spaghetti sauce
  • boxed stuffing
  • instant mashed potatoes
  • gravy or gravy mix
  • low sugar cereal and hot cereals
  • pancake mix and syrup
  • flour
  • brownie mix
  • spices (salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, seasoning salt, ground cumin)

  • Information on our donors (i.e., our mailing list or donor giving records) is only given to persons who need such information to perform their assigned duties for LifePath.
  • We seek to record only information that is relevant to the operations and programs of the ministry.
  • The information we collect is used only to communicate with our donors or potential donors and to evaluate our giving information programs.
  • Documents containing information about our donors will be carefully protected and will be destroyed when no longer needed.
  • Those individuals interacting with our website can be assured that their interest and privacy is protected. We conduct online transactions through a provider that employs a high-level of security technology. The donor’s personal information is protected.
