As summer temperatures rise, so does the need! We’re currently seeing a 30% surge in the number of neighbors in desperate need during these long, hot months. Soaring temperatures threaten lives across York. We anticipate an increase in the number of Code Red Emergency Shelter days declared in York when daytime heat levels become dangerously hot. During a Code Red, our capacity restrictions at LifePath Christian Ministries are lifted so we can be there with emergency shelter and cooling stations for everyone seeking refuge from the threatening heat levels.
That’s why your gifts and prayers are critical right now to provide more safe shelter, meals, help, and hope for all of those who are turning to LifePath this summer.
