“How did LifePath end up helping to change my life? Well, it started with me accepting Jesus!” —Joshua

Aug 3, 2021 | Blog

“I slept outside,” he says, recalling how it felt to be out in the cold—literally. “It was very cold!” Joshua emphasizes, shivering at the memory.

And, in more ways than one, “I wasn’t ready for that situation . . . I slept alongside a creek by a little trail that goes under a bridge,” completely discouraged as he watched all his plans and dreams slip away from him . . . it’s a place he’ll never forget—a place where he nearly lost all hope.

“I came to LifePath after that,” Joshua says, questioning if there was any way to find hope or purpose in life again.

But the opportunity for salvation was waiting for Joshua here at LifePath. Joshua smiles as he recalls when his life began to turn around. “Well, it started with me accepting Jesus . . .”

From that point forward, Joshua knew what he wanted and the path to achieving it. And you’ll be glad to know that thanks to caring neighbors like you, he’s on his way back to a productive, hope-filled life!

That’s the kind of life-transforming difference your support makes possible as we reach out to those who are hungry, homeless, hurting, and without hope across our community!

And as we look to the holiday season ahead, more who are in harm’s way, like Joshua, will come through our doors for the meals, help, and hope you make possible. Thank you!
